The K 16 Bridge Conference
8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
This workshop is for K-16 Bridge Site Coordinators and other representatives from schools preparing to implement this exciting program.
We encourage all participating and prospective sites from elementary to community college to take advantage of the opportunity to work with the developers of the K16 Bridge Program in order to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully administer the program at your site.
Workshop Cost
Cost covers registration, continental breakfast, lunch, and materials
Who Should Attend
Board Members, District Administrators, Community College Staff, Principals, Counselors, High School Department Chairs and 12th grade teachers.
Schedule and Breakout Sessions
- Check-in begins at 8:00am. Continental Breakfast will be served
- General Session begins at 9:00am
- Morning Breakout sessions will include:
- Implementing Bridge in the classroom- fitting the lessons into your pacing plan
- Bringing the enrollment process to your site
- Implementing Bridge in your district. A round table discussion with State, County, College, District CEO’s and Board Members
- Break for Lunch. Lunch will be provided
- Afternoon Breakout sessions will include:
- Using and administrating the My Mentor system, including EUREKA and ePortfolio
- Accessing your data with K16 Bridge and CalPASS
- Conference ends at 4:00pm
Since the Victor Valley will be launching the full 4th-12th program, the Victor Valley conference will also include breakout sessions for elementary and middle school administrators, counselors, and lead teachers grade 4th-8th. There will also be sessions for high school teachers representing grades 9-12.
Workshop Goal
Each participant will leave the conference with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to implement and administer the K-16 Bridge Program at their site or district.
